My thoughts on how to improve general education using smart devices and technical tools in the right way.

I work as a robotics teacher and tutor in robotics at the Tallinn Technical Gymnasium. The other part of my work involves the field of educational technology. I work as a educational technologist as well. I have been a teacher for 19 years. 14 years of vocational education as a vocational teacher in ICT and 5 years as a informatics and robotics teacher at general education school. Since teaching and being teacher are a bit more complicated in vocational education, I am also well aware of the problems young people and pupils who are not learning so well.
In my school I also teach 2 pupils with special needs and 3 girls in my robotics hobby training. I see that teaching and skillful guidance of problematic pupils is part of improving global education and ensuring the peace in the future.
Often, pupils in vocational schools need to be more educated and guided so that they acquire the right speciality, working methods and lifestyle, and live the family life peacefully in the future.
I also think that doing everyday work and guiding pupils with special needs in robotics is exactly the improvement of global education and ensuring the peace in society.
Global education and peace are part of my work in this sense that young people find very interesting learning besides school and they do not deal with the wrong things in everyday life and become full members of society in the future.
As I also work in the field of involving young people in their hobbies (robotics), I do think that my work is definitely involved in improving global education and ensuring peace.
As I speak well in English and I have previously participated in international education projects and I see that I have a lot of good experience to share with my colleagues from different countries in this area, so I definitely want to participate in this summer school. At the same time, I have a great motivation to participate in international discussions on peace and global education with other colleagues, to understand what teachers from other countries do on a daily basis and what experience they have had in their work.
I would also like to build links, as well as friendships with other schools and international cooperation in the future.
The motivation is to practice English again and to be in a suitable language environment.
Learning objectives are to get colleagues from other countries information and experience on how they make the world more peaceful both in the present and in the future by doing day-to-day work, and what is needed in their daily work to make global education better and to have peace in the world.
The second learning objective is to share my long-term experience of how I have been teaching young people in vocational education for 14 years to be peaceful world citizens.
Third learning objective is to gain international experience, engage in discussions on these topics.
I would also like to explain how schools need to use smart devices to direct young people to the right path rather than cause problems in everyday life. I want to talk about the technical tools and programs in smart devices that contribute to learning at school and limit the problems that smart devices encounter in the daily lives of students.
Perhaps, how to use day-to-day smart devices and IT tools by young people with both technical and educational methods to positively influence global peace and improve global education.
